  1. When I do A Channel Scan In The Activity Window I See All Channels Being Found And Such... But When It's Completed I Have Nothing In My Channels List. Any Ideas?

I Have MacBook Pro Dual Core 2 Duo, 3 Gig of Ram, 250 Gig 7200 Serial ATA HDD, and Mac OS 10.5.1 (Leopard).

VLC Is Installed and Running. I Have Found /Users/sdaniels/Library/Application Support/recsched/recsched_bkgd.dat, Which Appears To Be The Channel List, But If I Try To Import It iOnTV Wont Let Me.

One More Piece Of Information, My HDD Is Formated As Journaled Case Sensitive, Just Incase.

The .dat file is the database itself - it's not importable. Rather you can import a previously exported channel list (the exported list is basically an XML file).

It also looks as though one of the stations either in the lineup or detected in the channel scanning has a particularly long callsign.

Callsigns are typically WGBH, KQED or KCBS-DT etc. occasionally for digital broadcasts they're 'words' like 'Create' or 'World' (PBS stations do this sometimes).

If you know that one of your local stations has a particularly long (or unusual callsign) and can let me know what it is I can extend the size of that field in the database and see where that takes you.

  4. The Longest One I See Is In EyeTV As

    | Channel # 1000 | NBC WNNEDT1 | NBC | Digital Cable (Clear QAM) | 603MHz |

  5. I Did A New Channel Scan At 3:00AM And Also Found...
    | Channel # 11 | 7-2 WHDH Weather+ | | Digital Cable (Clear QAM) | 597MHz |

    And Weird...

    | Channel # 2 | 25-1 WFXT Fiber Feed | FOX | Digital Cable (Clear QAM) | 603MHz |

It Looks Like Comcast Is Starting To Be More Descriptive.

  6. I Had Some Time And Looked At The PDF For XTVD And I Think The xtvd/stations/station/callSign And The xtvd/stations/station/callSign Needs To Be Extended. Just The Fox HD Is 20 And Max Setting Is 10.
