How's the development of this going? Any new releases?
I really want this app to work for me as I don't really want to pay $80 for eyeTv or SageTV when I don't care about watching live tv / DVR stuff. I just want to schedule recordings so they happen for those shows my Dish box can't get (too many conflicts in HD).
I've been rather busy with some personal stuff (I recently changed full time employment), and that has slowed down progress quite considerably. However I am trying to make more forward progress 8-)
I'm working on two things at once :
a) Improve reliability and fix some memory leaks which are causing issues with larger schedule databases and forward scheduling of recordings.
b) Improving the 'out of the box' experience by adding a 'first run assistant' to handle the setup tasks, including channel mapping (which is one of the trickiest things to get right during setup).
I think there's a chance that the first task will be complete in the next couple of weeks (allowing for the rather severe lack of time I still have)
Glad to hear it's still in development. I was worried it might have dropped off the burner. Thanks for the update. Congrats on the new job (if it was a good thing).
